The perimeter of a rectangular swimming pool is 154 m. Its length is 2 m, more than twice its breadth. What are the length and breadth of the pool?

Let the breadth be $x\text{ m}$. Then the length is $2x + 2\text{ m}$.  

Perimeter of rectangle: $2(\text{length} + \text{breadth}) = 154$  

$2((2x + 2) + x) = 154$
$2(3x + 2) = 154$
$6x + 4 = 154$
$6x = 154 - 4$
$6x = 150$
$x = 25$

Hence, breadth = $25\text{ m}$, length = $2(25) + 2 = 52\text{ m}$

मान लीजिए चौड़ाई $x\text{ m}$ है। तब लंबाई $2x + 2\text{ m}$ होगी।  

आयत का परिधि सूत्र: $2(\text{लंबाई} + \text{चौड़ाई}) = 154$  

$2((2x + 2) + x) = 154$
$2(3x + 2) = 154$
$6x + 4 = 154$
$6x = 154 - 4$
$6x = 150$
$x = 25$ 

अतः चौड़ाई = $25\text{ m}$, लंबाई = $2(25) + 2 = 52\text{ m}$
